Mozilla Thunderbird

Mozilla Thunderbird is a free mail application. Its main advantages are better security than in Outlook and Exchange, better spam filter and the ability to install extension modules. You can set up Thunderbird to take care of both your private mail and your DTU mail.

Install

• Linux
  Thunderbird is most likely already installed on your system. If it is not present, consult the G-Bar support to get it installed, or if you are running a Debian-based distribution (Ubuntu, Kubuntu, etc), you can run this command in a terminal to install it:
  

  sudo aptitude install mozilla-thunderbird

• Windows and OS X
  Download and install Thunderbird
